Ok so for months and months i've been debating on what to do with my and which direction I wanted to go with it. And now i've decided to supercharge it and get a mongoose kit from mph and go with the vortech. But my question is what other mods do I need to make. My car has 113,000 miles on it and it has stock gears and t-45 trans. I'm thinking about going with pi intake, and maybe pi cams. So I go with more aggressive cams? And should I just stick with my npi heads? I'd appreciate all you guys great insight.

just do the supercharger first and then see what u want to add next, u may be plenty happy just the way it sits after the mongoose kit and not need to waste money elsewhere, i would maybe suggest save for an intercooler setup to go with the blower if i were to buy something else

+1 to evil, either a FMIC or a Meth/Water kit really would help. I love my meth kit, suuuuper easy to maintain and keep in order.

A heads/cam swap would help tremendously, but of course is a little costly. I personally would do some gears pronto :)

Which gears should I get? And what's the difference between the trims in the vortechs regarding s and t trim?
im not sure which one but i think the t trim can make more power and at lower boost, depends how much hp u want to be ableto make now or in the future

oh and with a supercharger id probly go with 3.73's

Unfortunately 400hp to the wheels wont be possible unless u get rid of the NPI heads/intake

not entirely true. yes you do HAVE to get rid of the npi intake and cams, but you can leave the npi heads on and make 400 rwhp. just look at my sig and that's what you'll need to make 400. i have just installed an intercooler and smaller pulley and should see well over 400 to the wheels. it can be done but you'll need to spend some money. oh and get either 373 or 390 gears with the vortech.

Nice #'s. You have about the same setup as i did, except i have the PI heads,Bassani headers, and intercooler. My tuner must not know wtf he is doing, i'm barely cracking 400hp and thats in cool weather. But after my new intake, i'm driving about 500 miles to get it tuned correct, man i cant wait.

get a intercooler. once it gets hot out it's not nearly as fun

bingo....but an intercooler will do some much more than just keep it fun. you will beable to give it more timing and the denser air will help ALOT in making as much power as possible. take it from me. i ran a summer without intercooler, then a summer with a meth/water injection which gave me my numbers right now and a fun car to drive all the time. now with the added intercooler it should be that much better. if you are gonna do this....do it right the first time and you will be pumped with all the added power. oh and it will be safe. :nice:

Lmao your in the same boat as me. But the difference is i'm running a auto that is going to be switched out for a built t56.

I have a procharger D1 sc and i have 111k on the motor. This isn't my first blower but i'll be honest your car will put down about 350 rwhp due to the fact that you have none PI heads/cam/intake <like me> Honestly if you want to do this the right way and not be out of a car fast. Get heads/cam/intake and then a blower.

You'll have to run more boost to get more hp when if you had the right combo you wouldn't have t run alot of boost. But hey if you want a D1 sc with 3k miles on it you can take mine for $3000 with inj/mas I just want what i paid for it.
