Vortech Install *Guaging Install Help in NJ/PA/NY/CT)

Hey guys, 80% chance I'll be buying a Vortech SQ for my 2000 GT. I really would like to avoid the $500 install fee and would like to do it myself. Friend of mine is going to help and has done engine swaps and turbo installs. I'm just looking for an extra hand of someone experienced in this install. I'm thinking late May, early June.

Bob (droptop)? Anyone else? Let me know who I could possible have as an extra hand. Thanks!

Hey, I'm in Jersey too...what part are you in? Im a college student who works in the summer as an aircraft mechanic. I would wanna check out the install because I might also do it myself one day.

Of course I'll buy the beer and I'll provide catered food as well. I know how to say "thank you". Right now, I think the 3rd or 4th weekend in June is going to be the date.

More on this later. I was just curious if anyone would want to stop by and make a day of it. We'll probably go all day.

Simple install btw, only three areas were difficult:

1. massaging the A/C lines out of the way of the mounting plate for the blower and the intake - you'll see
2. punching the oil pan - get the tap and punch LONG before the weekend, you'll thank me later
3. dropping the tank for the new fuel pump - make sure you have less then 1/4 tank of gas . . .
