I have read all kinds of post about running the Ford AC delete kit with the vortech kits and saw that vortech has a kit that relocates the tensioner all together but I personally think it does not keep a stock look to the car so I came up with a better idea , Used a 840K6 belt , other people might have done the same thing but just not posted , I am sure I am not the first one to think of it

I also used a smog delete kit in place of the smog pump but drilled and tapped a whole for the alt brace bracket , I have seen several people post about that , UPR kit would probably be easier to tap than the Ford unit since its flat in that area , the ford unit is rounded and was a pain to get drill bit to go straight

Simply drill a new hole in the tensioner bracket to reclock the tensioner so that it cannot push down enough to make the belt rub on itself across the water pump , you can simply install the tensioner let it bottom out but then manually push down on it enough to get good enough tension on the belt so that it wont slip but still does not rub , if you look close at the first picture you can see the spring tensioner is maxed out , actually had to push down with my hand to put little extra tension on the belt
