What is the different between V1 s-trim Vs V2 . I found one on ebay and thinking to get it. It's just a head unit.

What you guys think. I know s-trim is louder then sq but don't know what is V1 Vs V2. Louder the better and I want every one to hear my supercharger hehe

What is curved discharge supercharger Vs Straight Discharge ? Any pro or con ?

The v1 has straight cut gears which make it very loud. The v2 is the sq and has curved gears that produce less noise.
I have a v2. You can hear it nice and clear at idle, and on deceleration. A v1 might get annoying after a while.

From what I have seen the T-trim is supposed to be louder than the S or SQ trim. I have the T-trim, its ok, but I would have went KB if I had it to do over again.

The v2 flows a LITTLE better than the v1 when it comes to cfm. But the difference is so small, they are pretty much the same blower, except the v1 is louder. I got the v1 because I want people to know I'm coming

2 Questions...

1) Will THIS mounting kit fit on a 96-98 or not? I'm having issues finding a kit for 96-98GT's on this site besides http://www.superchargersonline.com/product_detail.asp?PartNumber=V4FH100-002

2) Are the above kits built for mounting Reverse rotation or standard AND straight or curved discharge? I'd assume straight discharge (no intercooler) but I'm not sure.

It would take a custom pipe to fit it, but it would work.

ok first off all mustang S/C are reverse rotation... second it is gonna be a straight discharge.

to see if that kit will work go to http://vortechsuperchargers.com/support.php?support_section=Kit%20Parts%20List and find the part number to your bracket application. then compare.

I have a bracket that came off of my 2001 2V. if it is the same part number I will sell it to ya cheap. let me know.

edit = found out your part number is 4FH011-031 I will go check mine out and let ya know.

I see on vortech's site they list my bracket assembly is 4FH111-031 with the bracket being 4FH011-031. A 2001 mustang is a 4FL111-031 w/ the bracket being a 4FL011-031. Different parts it seems.
