I was wondering what the waiting period is to have a car delivred from the factory.
I ordered my 05 2 weeks ago. Its comming out of Detroit, they gave me the VIN# the day after I placed the order.
How long should I expect to wait to get my car.
they told me 4-6 weeks.
Well I can give you my experience on ordering an 05 Mustang GT. I ordered mine 13 November 04. I received it, 24 February 05. That was almost 15 weeks. I was told 8 - 10 weeks when I ordered mine. The options on mine is:
Leather, IUP, AAT, SAB, SHKR 500, Bullitt Wheels, Side Mouldings.

What features did you order? To tell you the truth, it seems like there are a lot of GTs on the lots in Canada so unless you wanted something very specific, you probably could've found one with most if not all the features you wanted. I bought mine at Eastage Ford in Hamilton and there are still 4 or 5 GTs there (including two really nice ones in the showroom).

When I bought my car at the dealer 2 months ago. The sales rep said they are very very behind due to the demand. But they are soo nice that when it does arrive I'm sure all the frustrating waiting games just disappears ....
and as for OhYes05, I agree man. I own a V6 cause I'm getting married (again) this summer, kids and house to come next year. I'm broke now with this new car
