I have dumped 40 series flows on my car....it sounds absolutely rude when its idling and when its up in the rpms but you dont get the tone you get with tails. Sounds like a truck kinda. I think i may be switchin to side exit this summer. I dont have ANY drone however and people who say that dumpin the exhaust makes em drone more dont know what they are talkin about...i had way more drone with the tails on there. good luck man

You will need a female turndown 2.5 inchs. Flared end.

They have them at autozone.

I dumped my 2 chambers from my american thunder cat-back and it is true that alot of the drone was eliminated. I have an O.R. H-pipe and at about 1200 rpms the exhaust is so deep it sets off car alarms when Im just creeping through a parking lot or the local cruise spot. The drone that I used to get at 2200 is pretty much gone.

The Autozone by my house had the 2.5" female inlets turndowns but when I put them up to my muflers they were the same size. So I had my them welded on like that. I trimmed the ends though so it wouldn't be too long.
