Has anyone with an 05 or newer done bolt on mods, then had to return to the dealer for any warranty work? I'm curious about the result.

Not this question again. It has been beaten to death. Do a search and you will find very long threads on this. Bottom line, if what you do to the car causes a problem, the warranty will not cover it. If there's a problem that's Ford's fault, the warranty will cover it.

Sorry, I'm new and didn't know that the question was an old one. I don't even know how to do a search yet

Cozzi, I'll show you how.. it's really quite simple, all you do is scroll up to the very top of the page and you'll see a total of 7 tabs, the Search tab is located just before the very last one..Once you locate it ? just left click once to open it up then just type in the window, WARRANTY or whatever you're interested in ? and then click on the go button you'll then notice a list of threads concerning warranty, just select which one you're interested in and If you should experience any further problems ? feel free to shoot me a PM or an e-mail and I'll provide you with further instructions... However, I just found out that you can only use the search tab in either the S-197 tech forum or any of the other technical forums so just want to be certain you're aware of that..

BUT, talk forums are not searchable.

as stated, if the mod causes a problem, part not covered. if parts have no effect to the warranty claim, part is covered.

But he can always use the Search tab, if he goes into any of the tech forums correct ? from there, he should be able to use it and then type in whatever topic he's interested in...

find a svt or motorsports dealer in your area more than likely they will not give you any greif. hell my local non motorsport dealer installed a few mods for me when they were doing warranty work. nothing wrong with asking newbie!
