ok, on my way home tonight from Woodinville, seeing a movie... and going down 405 south to get to Factoria... must have seen a total of 6 cops taking radar on the side of the freeway... as if that's not bad enough... I get to the front of the pack I'm in, to find a cop there! so, I kinda pass him, doing about 63-65... not too bad... so, pass him, to see him take the next exit then, only to see another cop catch up to our group on the left, and then pace us! this is freaking out of hand! if this is what our tax money is going toward, I'm moving to Canada!!

Fargin' Bastages!! They drive around in unmarked cars trying to encite road rage!! Thay actually have officers who "specialize" in it! But I do say that the one's that have pulled me over have been cool. Nothing worse than a cop with a bad attitude.

WTF? Inicte road rage???? They're stopping the morons that tailgate and cut through traffic at 15-20 over the limit. Do you really think that they're the guy on your butt in the left lane at 75mph flashing his lights and flipping you off?

yeah, right... radar detector would have really helped me last ticket... the two guys in front of me w/ LASER didn't even get a blip... then I get cited at 1136ft! I guess I shouldn't have been driving so fast in the first place... best anti-cop thing to do

Got to tell you, I have never been hit less then twice by a cop with laser.. I am not sure why but I have never been pulled over when the first time the V1 goes off and I am speeding.. I always keep myself in a limit that will allow me to get slowed down in between the first and second hit by the laser... Has this been anyone else's experience??

I have the V1 as well....I think the first hit is a leak from the car in front getting hit. I have many times pooped my pants when the lazer alert goes off. I slam my breaks, then it goes off again. I think the forst one is not meant for you, the second one is.

Lazer is instant on, there is no way to pick it up untill it is too late. If your lazer goes off, your caught.

So you must be the guy doing 60 who pulls in front of me doing 70 and forces me to slam on my brakes causing a chain reaction behind me. Cause those are the only "morons" I flash and flip!

Be careful.. always look ahead and focus on your 6:00 <--- always.
Radar helps, but is no substitute for your eyes and cunning. They are smart and have a mission. Cameras are popping up all over the roads and are on. So think about that.

well, I think about a third of WSP have laser guns... most though, still use radar, because a large portion of people out there don't have a detector... and, the radar guns work just as well as laser, but are hella cheaper too... so, why buy one laser, when you can get 10 radar? (unless, it's not your money, which it isn't... so, then, just buy the 10 laser )

Yeah......I went down to Bellevue on Friday night for a soccer game, and the cops were out. Luckily my human radar was on, and could detect and stay away from trouble. Usually as long as you know where cops usually are, you are pretty safe.

well, cops are on the side of the road, sometimes w/o their lights on... but usually, just parked on the shoulder, w/ their regular lights on... so you can't tell if they're moving or not until they pull out for you... they don't hide in the center median anymore!

Yeah the new trick is to have the bike cops just stand at the back of their bike with the helmet up... In this stance they are near invisible because all you see is black.. They pop you off with the laser and you are done...
This is what happened to me about 1.5 years ago... I broke my own rule as to how fast I would let myself go and could not get slowed down fast enough in between hits... He kept talking to me about how the radar detector did not help me, must have brought it up about 4 times... Funny thing is I was doing over 95 and he only got me at 87....
