In my 2008 convertible, water has leaked in the passenger side on the floor. It was parked on a down slope during a heavy rain. Haven't had any trouble before and don't know if that parking had anything to do with it. Can't figure out how water got in. Can anyone?
I also had to find this the hard way. Even after TWO trips to the Ford Dealership and $100 each trip and me begging them to tell me what I needed to do to prevent the water from coming in in the future .... all I was told was to keep the leaves out of the window well. I found those 2 rubber drains on my own and now every couple months pull them out from below and clean them out. Ford really amazes me with some of the design flaws on this car, but I love the car, so I deal with them.
