My stewart pump has devolped a leak, it has lasted me well over 6 years.

I am considering a nice electric pump, I have the 3g in place and see 14.84 volts at idle.

what do you guys think?

I would like to pick up a few hp in the process ya know :)

If this car is driven alot I wouldn't suggest an electric waterpump. If you are dead serious about getting one, before you purchase it you should call the company that manufactures it and ask them the life expectancy in hours, on the motor that powers it.

Maybe you just need a new gasket for your water pump? Maybe?

But I'm sure you would gain a decent amout of HP from a electric water pump.

You now let that S-trim spin more freely.

Electric pumps are for track use only. If you are using it for a daily driver you will need one that goes around your belt or your car may run hot. Call summit or Jegs and they'll tell you the same thing. Good Luck!

taken form the Meziere.com site...
The WP311 is designed to be higher performing and easier to install. The flow rate (55 GPM) is higher than all other small block Ford pumps. The motor is raised to allow more clearance for balancers, pulleys, and crank triggers. This pump is ideal for racers and street performance cars. The pump kit includes everything you need for the installation, including heater and lower hose connections

I do belive I will be ordering one today.

I have heard some bad things about electric water pumps as far as keeping the car cool on very hot days. Also i dont know if this makes a difference but probably does because of your thermo switch some of those electric pumps are reverse flow so watch what ur getting. Laters.

That pump is a goo choice, same model were putting on our 93 Cobra that has a DART based 327 with a YS-Trim, limited street use car.

The Meziere has all the provisions needed for a street car, just make sure you run the realy kit for it and you'll be set. What color did you get?

Do you have another pic of showing your radiator overflow mount. I have a griffin 2 row and need to yet hookup overflow tank. Just wanted an idea. Would like an update to see if the pump works good for you. Rely kit?
