Does anyone have any suggestions on the sexiest wax for a mustang? Mine is black, and I remember seeing one a while ago that almost looked purple it was so clean (no it was not a mystic). I figured it had to be some expensive wax that i'd never heard of before.

I also use the NXT but sometimes I use Turtle Wax Ice. The Ice kinda sucks on the paint but its awesome on the plastic. A lot of times I will use Ice first and then follow it up with some real wax.

What ever kind of wax you use get a set of some high quality
Microfiber towels, they really make a huge difference.
Got mine from AutoGeek.

Nice

Also suggest Pinnacle Souveran, would look great on black. Skip the crappy over the counter waxes.

I also have used ICE. I actually think it works pretty well.

Souveran liquid doesn't last very long. I'd stick to the paste/jarred version.

I usually do the opposite: real wax then the Ice. Seems to me like the real wax actually gets small scratches out and protects the paint, while the Ice really makes it shine. I like it.

there's not really a huge difference between brands of carnauba wax. And it's wax that makes factory paint look incredible. The oil/polishes that put down a layer of wet-look grease might look good, but they don't actually protect anything the way a layer of wax does, no matter what they might claim.

I love my Poorboy's World Natty's Blue Paste Wax. Poorboys World Nattys Paste Wax BLUE - Waxes Paint Sealants - Detailing Products & Supplies Catalog
That particular one is designed for dark paints in particular.

After Klasse AIW, sealant, a few layers of Natty's Blue, and a Meg's Topcoat, I'm usually good for a month. Here's a shot after two layers of Natty's.

A real wax wouldn't get scratches out, first it's not an abrasive and second most "real" waxes don't have fillers to hide scratches either.

I don't think you know what you're talking about. All carnauba are not created equal. Cheap waxes don't have the durability or depth that a more expensive carnauba has.
