this is my second rail that broke in the same spot, 2in above the rear bolt on the driver side rail right by the door.. are these known for being so weak? its in my 88 gt mustang. any comments?

Good thing you explained that, I would never ever have guessed that is what you meant by rails. If that is the biggest problem of the car you have nothing to worry about. That is very minor. you could fix that in minutes with a welder. Are you a big guy? you should have just said seat rails, we assume frame rails, and it caused confusion.

im a 220lb guy, this is the second time the rail broke, (two diff seats and two diff rails), the firs time was with my 186lb brother, is it just a lead foot issue, or is it just cuz its 16 year old metal?

Prbably cause it is old I don't think the lead foot should do it, you are not that heavy. I have heard about the (gangster lean) in these car seats but not the rail problem. Maybe others have, like I said that is minor anyway, the car could have a lot worse problems than that.

ya, i just put new head gaskets and new rear main seal in it, my rear axle blew up and cought the under carage on fire, that cost me over $800 to fix....lol well i guess ill just get some new cobreu seat or somthing, any suggestions? oh ya, all my interiors gray and black so....
