Okay, after doing a lot of research etc. I have come up with my conclusions on all the power adders that are out there. I may be way off base on my thinking here and I am sure you guys and Gal's will set me straight if that is the case.

I guess it all comes down to, what is your goal when thinking of adding extra HP to our Stangs. As far as me, I don't plan to race but I would like to have that extra HP available when needed. So here are my thoughts.

1. Adding and Plenum and TB will probably add about 20HP at most, as reported here, and considering the cost (about $450.00) and gains it comes out to about $22.00 per HP. So what does that get you, NOT MUCH!!

2. Let's say you add a KB supercharger and you gain 150HP. Considering the cost of purchasing the system ($6000.00, 9lb. IC) it comes out to $40.00 per HP. And this does not count on the cost of the install. So what does that get you, A LOT!!

3. Okay, a 75hp shot Nitrous System on a stock enging with a CAI, stock MAF, TB and Plenum. That comes to about $8.00 per HP ($600.00) with the cost of filling the bottle. So what does that get you, Instant gratification !! But of course you would have to figure getting the bottle refilled at about $35.00 and you only get about a minute and a half on run time on a bottle, which is fairly good if you only use it when needed.

So I think for me, it's the Nitrous for those times when I need the extra HP's. Again, I know you Gents and Gal's have different thoughts on this and of course, it's just my 2 cents on all of this.
