Weighed my car at the dump scale today

GT bone stock with no power options or A/C some junk in the back and 3/4 tank of gas.....Weighed in at 3200 pounds flat.. Not to bad I thought I could take the rear seat out and some other stuff and have it doun to 3000 pretty easy.

pretty cool, ive been wanting to get mine weighed for a while, theres a dumo near by here, did they let you do it for free?my a/c delete kit is on the way, and i have a bunch of other little things like no radio, no armrest, front sway bar, i think im going to put my skinnies and drag lites on and see what it comes out at.

yes it was free I'mm gonna go to 2 different scales that I know of just to see what they all say. They get this all the time (people in theese type of cars) All I did was go to the dump and ask the lady at the scale if I could get my car weighed and she wrote down the weight and said there's no charge for doing this.

what does a GT weigh with A/C and power options

Was that with or w/o you?

I gotta get mine back on the scale again.

Redfox, the a/c system weighs appx 40lbs.

just take your hood, hatch and all your doors off and youll be well below 3000 pounds.

i weigh in at 3050 w/ the blower

and 2995 w/o the blower

pwr windows and locks, no ac

lol yea I can take some big ones J/K....I thought a notch was around 3K pounds.So your blower is 55 pounds but I'm sure it makes up for it with the SOTP meter

i weighed mine at a truck stop one time,,, i don't remember the exact wegiht but it was somewhere around 3300 with me, spare in the truck, full tank of gas and no weight removal

i'm a skinny dude though

scale might not have been verry accurate (truck stop scale won't be accurate) or you a really really skinny dude

Not really, msn says a manual gt weighs 3144, of course that number isnt completely correct because he would have to be about 300 pounds for that to be true, and your car would have extra stuff instead of less stuff (like no ps and ac) but you get the point.

mine has P/S P/B and power lumbar seats and tilt...other than that manual every thing

my full option lx with a body kit weighs 3300 pounds with no smog stuff and aluminum heads, it is a pig
