Does anyone know of a site that lists the weight of different style of wheels. For example, 17X8 Bullitts vs. Cobra R's vs. misc aftermarket wheels?

Thanks,

Andrew

No, but maybe we could get people to post the weight of their wheel/tire combo. My FRPP Mach 1 style 17x8 wheels with P245-45 BF Goodrich G-force tires weigh 52.3 lbs each. I haven't weighed the rears yet (17x9 Mach 1 knock offs w/ P275-40s).

I'm curious to know how much weight I added to the original set up of 14x7(?) steel wheels with E70-14s. It shouldn't be much since the originals were steel. Also, how does this compare to some of the more popular after market choices like 15x8 TDs, or the bullit wheels you mentioned.

well i can tell you my e'brock 454's weigh more than my stock 14x7 GT wheels, how much i can't say since i haven't weighed them but they are most definitly heavier. one bare 454 with no tire weighs about as much one of my old 15X8 Riken mesh wheels with a 235/60-15 radial T/A mounted.

i'm glad i decided to keep the Riken wheels and use them on the cougar, the weight difference alone is worth it to me and since i don't plan on ever using anything larger than a 12" rotor i have no need for larger wheels on the cougar.
