Alright, I decided to remove the weights on my car that I've been hearing about. Can someone tell me where they are or [even better] if you have pics?

Thanks.

there's a 25lb weight right above the front passenger side inner wheel lining. you can see the big iron thing if you look up, while under the car, right in front of the lining... i think you might have to take the lining out to remove it... i haven't taken it off yet

second, there's the dogbone, which is right before/under the differential housing. it has 2 bolts and hooks up to the pinion snubber. you take the 2 bolts off, both things come off so be careful to remove both. you can also get shorter bolts to leave the pinion snubber in. I currently don't run either and have sportlines

First of I think someone should make a post to stick this info to the top of the page, these are the free mods one could do to a car that could make it launch like a mad man's car.

Along with that someone could post all if not all, weight reducing elements for these mustangs. (like removing back seat, and front seats for racing light weight seats.

Don:
What lenght of bolts did you buy ? is it something mandotory to buy if you remove the dog bone ? can you run the car without the pinion snubber ?
