When I press my door lock switch my trunk pops, also none of my interior lights work. I check all my fuses all were fine. Please help.

Do you have an oem or aftermarket alarm?

The lock wires and trunk wire are next to eachother in the driver rocker panel, so I wonder if someone used a fuse tap, etc and they somehow shorted.

More info on all that and the smart folks in here can probably help you out.

Good luck.

It has the factory alarm. Thanks I didn't now the trunk wire run behind the door panel. That wouldn't have anything to do with the dome light though, would it?

You say none of your interior lights work, does that include your dash lights and the one at the glove box? Or is it just the dome light. If it's just the dome, check the bulb for continuity (a couple ohms should be present) with a DMM.

As for the other problem, does the factory alarm key fob have a trunk release button?

When you say you hit the door lock, do you mean you hit it with the key fob, or the actual button on the door?

It does it when I push the button on the door. When I press unlock it makes a sound in the trunk but it doesn't pop. The only lights that work inside the car are the dashlights. Thanks for responding.

make your your trunk isn't leaking and getting water in the keyless entry box. Mine has went all wacky from water getting in there. One night the marker lights came on and the horn was blaring had to disconnect the battery to get it to stop. Dried it out stuck it back in. It got wet again and went all weird took it out again and its all corroded inside. Mine didn't bother the trunk release but who knows might have shorted somethgin different in yours if thats the problem.

BTW anybody got a spare box lol
