weird idle

ok, now that it has started to get warm here, the past few days have been about 80 degress, my idle all of a sudden has started idling around 1500-2000 rpms, and when i shift the rpm clims up to 3000 when the clutch is in. what is causing this and how is it fixed???

scan for codes and check inputs for the pcm

could this be an IAT sensor problem ??

usually what your seeing is in either the IAC or TPS...Maybe the EEC is going wacky with the weather change ??? Odd but we do have odd computers...
I would try to clean the IAT and see where that gets you, although I wasn't aware it would affect the car by a surging or hanging idle??....

I have the Fox set-up and the IAC is tit...2 bolts its off for cleaning...the SN95s are a tad more involved for sure...I would at least shoot some WD40 at the IAC from inside the TB to try to breakup any crud/gunk build-up....

TPS is supposedly re-set at start with the SN95...i would at least check the voltage on that for chits and grins to see where its at...

If all else fails...Seafoam the B...its the latest rage and seems to help....

that bottom bolt is the fun one

Just takes a tiny ratchet and some patience.
