Weird noises

I have a 2002 mustang gt, I put a different rear end in it because the old one was welded and I got a good deal on it. This was about 2 weeks ago, with no noises or anything. This morning I noticed a constant noise, I guess I’d describe it as a whale noise whenever I’m turning left. If I brake, it goes away. Also noticed a noise around 40-45ish that also goes away when I brake. I’m used to driving trucks and vehicles that aren’t so close to the suspension so the sounds are different than what I know. The brakes on the driver side rear were replaced but not the passenger Side due to needing a new caliper but the pads aren’t the greatest. It just doesn’t sound like a brake issue to me. Just looking for where to start basically

So I had to take it on a longer drive yesterday evening at highway speeds, and now everything seems to have worked itself out. I did put new brake pads on one side of the rear and waiting for a new caliper for the other side. I’m wondering if it was something with the new brake pads and if the caliper I didn’t order is bad as well and wasn’t pressed in enough or something
