LOL... Am I the only one that thinks Stang22s ride would make a great dirt track car??? Put some big ole nobbies on it and ZOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM. Just a little bump here and a grind there. It'll just add some character!

Don't forget Daggar you promised me a ride around the track..maybe we should weld in a roll cage...just for safety sake.

Let's see if the night crew thinks that a couple of lighter burn marks on the tank is worrysome/reason to return the radiator.

(and reiterating apologies for no pics - that would make this SOOOOOO much easier to qualify).

I'd have it pressure tested BEFORE by a local shop before I installed it JT. Guess you decided not to go with the stocker -- what are you doing about A/T cooler? Built into the Griffin?

Thank you Michael - I think I am sending this one back.

Rick - I got your email. And I am glad to know that me being a worry-wart was not necessarily out of line. I expected more myself but don't buy alum radiators often.

With the trans cooler, I am going to run a stand-alone stacked-plate trans cooler. With the moderate temps here (today, for example, once I heat the trans fluid up about 80*F, I will be at the danger point of beginning to shorten tranny life).

Thanks again guys!

Kevin, this is going on the 94GT. The stock radiator on that car is ~ 24" X 15" X 1". This new one is a pretty nice step-up, IMHO (I dont want to have interferance with the ABS pump, brake lines, etc).

Trans Cooler Get the larger B&M coolers that have the screw in fittings, not the brazed. They are 99% more less likely to fail with the line pressure. I have the PT# if you need it...

Rick, yeah hit me with the part number bro.
I had previously installed a stacked plate 19000 # GVWR cooler, but I dont think it is gonna cut it anymore. Some of the bigger B&M coolers are like twice as thick as the one I got (who knew I would ditch the stock radiator's heat exchanger). I had my eye on like the 28,000-pound B&M Stacked plate (Supercooler).

I know you got the info on what is the best one! So please post or email me a number (and place you like to get it, if applicable).

Thats the one PT 70266, it has 3/8" NPT inlets, run a 3/8" or -6AN line. If you run braided hose you need the teflon lined hose and hose ends.

I have a buddy that works for B&M but Jegs carries it for $60 http://www.jegs.com/cgi-bin/ncommerce3/ProductDisplay?prrfnbr=3228&prmenbr=361

I just finished putting a 408ci stroker with a nasty Freddy Brown AOD in a car and it is what I used.

Rick - Thank you for the info.

Nice to know the one I had my little eye on might be a decent one to use. It was about as good as I could find, short of finding a unit for a motorhome or something. It sounds like the 70266 should be sufficient.

And yes, it must be nice to have hook ups. I have no friends.

Why not just return it if you got it from Summit or any other major retailer.... Say you don't like the quality, and you want another one.
