I hear that...i'll strap up some 15" wheels/ET streets when i get everything together and see what it runs...If say i'm at a 12.1 i'd definately start looking for an edge to get into 11's but if i'm at 12.5 i'm not going to care if i have skinnies or not. Plus its a bitch having skinnies with 13" brakes.

Thats why I say "screw big breaks" . When I get 15s and DOT slicks, ill also get some skinnys. the reason is that I want to go ALL out when I do that. So ill also pull the rear seat, and maybe even the passenger seat. That would be to get my BEST time in full drag trim. Most people dont ask what tires you used when they ask for your 1/4 times.

Seems like a good plan eh? A FULL street trim 1/4 run, then a FULL drag trim 1/4 run...or visa versa lol. Unlike "bottomless pockets" Helty, I cant afford to get a built rearend for quite a while...err other things first on the list haha.
Darn $800 car payment doesnt help any either lol. Ill be glad when its payed off later this year...then you guys are going to see some stuff happen. Maybe then I can keep up with Helty here .

I just got some 15x8 prostars and 275/50-16 BFG DR's. 5.5in backspace, no fitment issues. Hook great, got a 1.86 60 from 2.5k launch. Afraid to really take it over that due to stock axles, but a 31 splines and a truetrac should be on the way soon, so we'll see what the tires will do then.
