They are best done by cutting off existing mufflers and taking the new ones and setting them into place and welding them onto the exhaust pipes. Some people will tend to use clamps but they do tend to leak and they just don't look like a good installation. Most decent muffler shops will install them for you at a reasonable cost (30-50 bucks) and do a good job. Hope this helps...2003Mach1 said:What will i need to do this? They don't seem to loud inside my stang but they do sound pretty good outside, but i still want louder, so i'm thinking about getting the whole American Thunder Cat back exhaust sytem and putting in a BBK H pipe and Full length headers, I just wonder if the Cat back by itself would make it louder like i want or if the H pipe and Headers would take care of that.
