if you guys remember the hitch for my GT thread... Just letting everyone know i made down to orlando, FL from IL last night

i didnt have a problem pulling it at all... i had to keep it in 3rd the whole way couldnt put it in OD... i pulled a lil bigger trailer then expected! it was a 4x8 and weighed about 750lbs and with it loaded maybe 1300lbs

only problem was the car got a lil warm once down in FL, my gauge stayed lil over half way mark...

i was cruising at about 60mph and about 2,300rpms the whole way... cost me about 130 dollars in gas to go 1100 miles...

Glad everything went OK.

Came back just in time for some nice storms to roll through. Last night and the next several months are going to suck really bad for lots of people just north of us.

Glad you made it without a problem. Enjoy the weather man; I regret quitting my winter job down there.

Another snowbird becomes a resident... Welcome to Central Florida...

If you see a burgundy 89 GT with flowmasters, banged up bumpers and has a sun bleached paint job, that's probably me. There are quite a few guys from the Orlando area here on Stangnet.
