Went out on Friday night to test out the war wagon. Brutally hot, 35C. Corrected altitude was 5386ft. Made a few passes and the car ran really well. Tough to get used to the torque of the KB off the line though. Blowing the tires away at 1500rpm even with 14psi in the 315 Nittos. This isn't my best pass but was my funnest just due to who I was racing. It's a 2004 Z06 Commemerative Edition Vette, beautiful car, ass driving it. The outcome wasn't great but still fun. Me running 6psi, him stock.

I ran a 13.3 with a crappy 2.1 60ft. Gotta get used to the torque of the KB. My best run of the night was a 13.09 @ 109.47, still a crappy 1.99 60ft but we're getting a little better. Not too impressed with the Nittos, couldn't find a good launch point. 1500rpm the tires were getting blown away and that was with 315's and 14psi tire pressure. Once I get the hang of her and can get it out of the hole it should see some 12.7-8's on 6psi. On 12 I should see 12.3-4 I hope .

Good stuff. I went Sat and Sun but it was just too hot for me to sit out there all day long. Ya made some good passes though, keep it up!

Those Vettes run really strong and for you to be right in there your first time out with the S/C is very impressive!!!

It was too hot for me to run on Saturday, I didn't want to beat the car up too bad. Those KB's get unbelievably hot, you can't even touch it after one run. I spent some time with the wife and my boy.

I was hoping to beat him but a little bit of driver error on my part sealed the deal. Those Z06 Vettes are fast right off the showroom floor. Hopefully next time I will put up a better fight. Still a fun night. I won my share of races that night, just posted this one cause it was probably the best car I raced and a little bit of a grudge match. Win some, lose some .
