Well I went again yesterday and let me say...total waste of money. Stupid opening day for bracket racing. I was there from 11-5 and I only got 5 passes. The first 3 passes my car kept stalling out and I found out that the fuel pressure was totally bleeding out through a loose fitting. So I got that all straightened out and made a pass to check things. I really only was able to do one good pass on it. I couldnt tune or tweek anything, it was way too busy so it sucked.

My only real run I ran a 13.26 with a 1.806 60 foot. I kept 16psi in the tires this time around and launched at 5000rpm. The extra psi caused the car to spin off the line as opposed to bogging like it was doing last week.

Heres a vid and you can see it spinning. I'll post some pics later

Ya I was amazed that 1psi would make that much of a difference. The track was even prepped better yesterday too. This means that now I gotta do a bit more playing with my launch rpm to get that sought after 1.6x 60'.

JEEEEEEEEEEZ I just realized I forgot the word "to" in the title...oops

I didnt even notice the to missing, but what sucks is every track day will change. The suspension might work, but the launch RPM, tire psi, and burnout technique will change with how each track day is. Found this out with our two step car!

Nice

Nice video and pics.

Seems to launch fine, and a little bit of spinning, is easy to solve.
But, you need a lot of timeslips, to solve out your way of driving, launchtec, tirepress, weathercond, and as mentioned , burnout tec. etc.

Good luck with it ! Ps, Nice car you got

Yes the timeslips and experience are great. The best thing to do is write on the timeslip what you launched at, what you shifted at, tire pressure, and burnout proceedure. Then take all that info and with the track dates go online and find the exact conditions. Then plug this all into an Excel chart and see how it stacks up. This is a way to make sure you get the best out of it, and learn from what works and what doesnt. I regret not doing something similar with my car, but did keep track of what I did on a lot of my timeslips! That and for some reason I remember almost every track pass just by looking at the timeslip?? Weird!
