I was just watching Jay Leno and Gavin DeGraw is on performing which reminded me I didn't post about going to his concert about 2 weeks ago. I was blown away with his ability to play, sing, and entertain... which is the way it should be, and unfortunately isn't the case with most of the crap that's on the radio anymore. His opening band was AWESOME too, they were so good in fact that I bought their CD after their 3rd song. The opening band was Michael Tolcher and it is probably one of the best CD's I've bought in a long time. If you like TRUE musicians these guys are worth seeing IMO. Tolcher was AWESOME and I'm sure that if you haven't heard of him yet, you will soon.

im not a huge gavin fan, but i went to see Black Label Society a few months ago and they were ****in awesome!!! and i wanna try and get to tix to see Pearl Jam in october :D
**** YEAH! I saw P.J. at their live in NY concert on 7/9/2003 (the one that is out on CD). My parents bought me tickets for my graduation present at $300.00 a piece. (OUCH!) When Ben Harper came out on stage, the place went nuts.

I'm gonna try to get tickets when they go on sale, but the last time tickets went on sale, they sold out in like 30 seconds or something crazy.

I saw Gavin at the TLA in Philly a few years back and he was damn good.

If you guys are into Gavin, check out the Pat McGee Band. Sorta the same music and they're damn good, too. They just went on tour with Vertical Horizon, and IMO, they're better than VH is.

I've been to almost 50 concerts in my life and I can say that without a doubt, Pearl Jam and the Dave Matthews Band have the most energy, hands down, at any of their shows.

:nonono: WEAK!! :D

I clicked on the link and listened to the 2 songs, not my cup of tea. Just not heavy enough :D

My last show was Metallica/Godsmack and it was great. I've also seen Pantera/Slayer/Morbid Angel/Static-x, Pantera/Soulfly/Morbid Angel and Hatebreed/Mudvayne/Slipknot. These shows were killer.

Black label rocks!! Zach is the man..

Ive been to only one concert(besides a warped tour i went to, what a joke/waste of time that was :nonono: ) Korn, opening was incubus and orgy. They were all real good except orgy sucked. This was way back before incubus was mainstream.

I've seen DMB 4 times, definitely lots of energy. But oddly enough, the most energy I've ever seen from a performer was Garth Brooks.

I saw a lineup something like that on Ozzfest a few years back. Pantera/Static-X/Incubus/Godsmack and some others.

My wife is a huge Gavin fan, and from her listening to it so much it grew on me.
