I ran a best of 13.1@107
It was about 55-60deg F at about 9pm
How much better can i go on street tires during the day, i got 9 runs in, so this was about as good as it was going, problem is, i don't know my best 60' because the laser broke. Before this I ran a 13.4 with a 2.079 60' @ 106 mph. I'm moving from NY to FL for school. I might run it down there. The car is built to use drag radials w/ no problem. Even slicks would work. How fast could i get it with these. my race weight was about 3100 plus me 150-170lbs. I need to get new quad shocks, since i removed them when i did suspension(broken). sunny day, 12's? quads/drag radials/fiber hood/skinnies/battery relocate low 12's?

I think its safe to say that if you put on the quads and the drag radials you could hit high 12's. The fiber hood, battery relocate and skinnies would help but I doupt it would be enough to really notice. With some good traction, you should be able to get off the line faster and improve you times.

Where in NY is there a track still open? I know LVD has been closed for a while.

12s shouldnt be an issue on a tire!

I think you could get to mid 12s on better tires and a good 60' time.

skinnies and a good tire will put you good into 12's. I wouldnt say low 12's yet.

+1 13.4 w/ 2.0xx 60' knock that 60 down with a tire and you should break 12's.

13.1 @ 107, all you need is a little more, I did 12.9 with that mph, that weight, and a 2.0 60'!

don't fail to realize that its hot as hell in florida, temp and humidity affect track conditions severely. so while u may get 12's in ny don't expect the same in fl. i'd also look into getting a good set of LCA's to go with those dr's if i was u man.

Of course it is, and in FL it might run a little slower, but Im more or less saying there could be more in it in NY (I ran my 12.9 in NH), and he could probably duplicate that 13.1 down in the FL weather!

Yes get the sixty foot down in the 1.8 range and 12's won't be a problem. Relocating the battery and removing your front sway bar should help with the wieght transfer to get a better 60 foot time.

Get those 60's down to 1.8 and that should put you at a 12.7

iT SHOULDN'T BE HARD TO GET oh geez sorry damn caps a 1.8 sixty foot time. A better tire or even an airbag in the passenger side spring could help with that goal. perhaps softer springs upfront.
