What size tire do I want to fit my '95? Right now I have Nitto 255/40 street tires on 17x9' and they are pretty poor getting off the line at the track.
I have 3.73 gears and a T5. I don't know what my 1/4 trap speed is, but thus far 80 is the best I've done in the 1/8. When I'm crossing the finish line (1/8 mi) I'm at redline in 3rd. I have a set of control arms that I need to put on but I was planning on keeping the quads.
How would yall rate drag radials on the bang for buck o'meter? Say you took car X to the track and you ran one run on street tires and one on drag radials, would it be a nite and day difference or just kinda meh?
I'll probably only get to go race once or twice this year and most likely it'll be a test n tune. That being said I don't really want to spend $400+ on a set if the e/t differences aren't that great. If it's not nite and day I think I'll just put the new arms on and see where that gets me.
