The numbers are low because he's using an alphabet cam instead of a TFS1 and 40 series flows with an o/r H. Seriously, I agree that something's off. It should make closer to the rating on the spray, and nitrous usually makes huge torque too which you're not really seeing. Is this your old motor Adam?? Can't wait to see the 408 on the rollers.

No, if a kit is rated at the wheels it calculates the % you lose in the drivetrain to get that shot to the wheels.

Ex: 150 shot Nx rated at the wheels would make about 175 to the flywheel to get the 150 to the wheels with about a 15% loss. As other companies like zex rate theres at the flywheel so the 150 shot would make about 127 wheel hp with about a 15% loss.

Also N/A 300 flywheel, 255 rwhp ; nitrous 400 flywheel, 340 rwhp with a higher flywheel number you lose more power as the power lost is a percent not a set number.

Ya its my old motor with a couple changes (hope he doesnt have the same luck I did with it lol) I do agree that the torque is low but like I said we are going to make some jetting changes and maybe an intake change and see what it does..did you start on your project yet??

No, the hotside isn't going to be here for another 5 weeks or so I might tear the engine down before then and get everything done except the turbo stuff. Then hopefully we can have it running in one weekend after the hotside comes in.
