We had a dyno day yesterday. I decided to put my car on there to see what it would do.
I'm happy with the results. I had 5 degrees of timing pulled out (from the base timing) and put down 240/286 on motor.
After that I put down 350/420 on a 100 shot. I had to let out of it at about 4800rpm because the car went lean. The horsepower was still climbing pretty good when I let out of it. I knew the fuel pump was iffy, so I guess it's time to put a Focus pump in it, and up it to a 125. You could also smell clutch really bad after that nitrous pull.
Like I said, I'm happy with those numbers. I think with a good fuel pump, and add 1 degree or so to the nitrous tune and take it up to 5500rpm, it would put down 375/430 or so to the wheels. I dont think that's to bad for having a motor with 147,000 miles on the clock
What do you guys think it would put down n/a if I added all the timing back to it? I took the timing down 7 degrees from where I was at n/a for the nitrous. The only mods the car has are a JLT cold air intake, Mac o/r prochamber, flowmaster mufflers, and a SCT SF3.
