Well ran at Jackson today but still not happy. I went in December and here are the best results from December 7th, and bellow them Ill post todays.

December 9th
My lowest ET for that night (first time racing)
was this:
RC:.488
60':2.216
330ft:6.190
1/8 ET:9.349
1/8 MPH:77.93
1/4 ET:14.306
1/4 MPH:99.51
That was my 7th run that night.

My best MPH that night was 99.71 on a 14.3 run.

Oddly my very first run I ran my lowest 60 foot of the night with a 2.180 but managed a 15.435 grinding 2nd, and shifting redline.

Everytime I got in the water box on khumo's and did a 5 to 10 seconds burn out.

OK So here is what I ran today, and I am confused. I ran a MPH lower and the only two things that have been done to my car were a new stock bumper instead of my Cobra R, and a Mach 1 grill delete kit. I also didn't run the heat at all before running like I did last time (cold).

My first run I got in the water and clicked off a 14.20@ 98.68 MPH, with a 60 foot of 2.108

My 2nd run i went around the water box just to see if it would help.

here is what I got.

Run#1
RC:.460
60 ft:2.108
330 ft:6.090
594ft :8.694
ET:9.275
1/8:77.24
ET:14.280
MPH:98.68

Run#2 (went around water box)
60foot:2.088
330ft:6.014
594ft:8.600
ET:9181
MPH:77.40
ET:14.180
MPH:98.80

I dont get it!!!!! I lost 1 MPH and managed faster times then my last trip to the track. Between my two runs I managed a difference of .12 MPH and managed a 1/10 of difference in speed. I didn't adjust the pressure in the tires at all this time unlike last time where i lowered the rear psi. I was shifting a bit after 5200 or so, not powershifting. Right now my car has a warped intake leaking a bit of coolant and missing a stud connecting the cat back and H pipe. I also cleaned out the TB before running today. Thats about all I can think of what can yall tell me?

Oh December 9th is was cold and dark and windy.
Today was sunny but still cold with same wind.
Its a side wind. Not that it could change much just adding what ever I can think of, Thanks in advance!!!

Ill answer anything I can. Also, Im reving to about 28 and letting the clutch our around 2800 feathering it best i can.

this is not meant to knock you in any way, but i think you cant drive...
if you launched harder pulled a 1.9-2.0 60' and powershifted i think you could easily see 13.6s

I think staying out the water box is the way to go & don't over heat the street tires. Let off when you see smoke just 4-5 sec burn out. what khumo's do you have? If its 712's they sux for the track. I could not do better than 2.2 60ft with them doing the same things you did, then I got some BFG KDW's (only change) and got 1.9 60ft. going around the water box 4-5 sec burn-out. 22psi
This was with my 01' GT.

well you need to be shifting at a lot higher RPM then 5200!! Why are you running your car at the track if your are missing an exhaust bolt and the car is leaking coolant?

The next time you go, shift at 6000 rpm!! You have 4.10's

its better to shift lower with 4.10s and street tires, cuz you spin so much going into the next gear.

OK well I have already concluded its my driving because of the mods to my car.

I am shifting early because shifting at 6000 was causing me to drive 14.5s and .6s, so shifting early has helping me. Yes I had 712s, and I have been letting off the gas every shift.
