I've gotten pulled over about 8 times in the stang for random stuff, and not one of them mentioned exhaust to me. I know plenty of people with o/r pipes in CA, and I don't know about any of them getting pulled over. There are even people running longtubes. The L/T runners are usually the only ones that run into problems with cops to my knowledge.
