I just got my car back from paint & it has some orange peel, not bad but I would like the finish as smooth as possible. Is wet sanding hard to do myself or would I be better taking it to a professional. It's important to note that I have no experience at this & no equipment (buffer). Not to metion that I'm alittle intimidated to start sanding on a fresh paintjob. If I do it myself, what do I need to do the job right without damaing the paint? If I go to a pro, who does wet sanding? Can I take it to a detailer or just to a body shop? And finally, since the paint is fresh, should I wait to wet sand it or is it ok to have it done now?

I would price it out first and hopefully there is enough clear on it to allow you to go down with the wet sanding.

It sounds like it wasn't prepped properly.
