Got the car about three years ago. Has heads cam intake exhaust mods, the guy I bought it from drove it a handful of times and then let it sit in his driveway for 6 years. Has 113k miles triple black gt.
I spent the first year with it learning the foxbody ropes and really learning how to do extensive work on cars in general. This is my first project car. I pretty much replaced everything you can on the engine without actually removing it to give it a complete tune up. I also redid the suspension with new springs and shocks.
The second and third year I’ve owned it have been the paint job years… I completely disassembled the exterior and interior for the resto. The car was sandblasted down to bare metal and received a ford tuxedo black paint job. Almost two years later (had to deal with the guys painting my car taking forever) I now have the car back and it’s almost done. I’m still waiting on the hood, front bumper, and body kit to be finished wet sanding. However I have reinstalled most of the interior and all of the exterior parts I can. Here’s some pics below of the progress.
Here’s when I got it
This was after I disassembled it
This is during the sand blasting process, and also when it had a new donor door jamb and sunroof welded in to replace my rusted ones.
When I got it back from being painted
And how it looks currently, after being wet sanded and partially reassembled
