Okay I need some valve covers pretty badly because my stock ones leaked because I cracked them...and I want new valve covers...whether they be 'reproductions' or the aftermarket...

They need to clear the stud mounted RR's and underneath the Performer intake?

My stock ones cleared when I removed the oil baffle for comparison?

What do you guys run with the 1.6 Scorpions and Performer (or equivalent intake?

Stock valve covers, ground the oil baffle ridges smooth, using a Mr. Gasket rubber/cork gasket (it's thicker). No issues.

Steeda has been advertising that they have "tall" valve covers designed to clear aluminum roller rockers. I don't know if there would be a clearance issue with the Edelbrock intake, though. You might want to call Steeda and see just how much taller they are than the stockers.

You got a link to those AFM valve covers...?

Does anybody know what valve will clear the stud mounted Scorpions and under the Performer...

Will a Performer with a 3/8 spacer fit under a stock hood?

Are you running stud girders? To clear mine I bought a set of FMS tall valve covers.

Engine Might have to get a Dart block but don't want to and if I do, then 363 instead of 331. Thoughts on what I've already bought so far.......
