What Distributors can i use?

The title should read: What distributors can i use, not alternators

I have a 1991 roller motor, converted to carb. i know i need a dizzy from an 85 carb'd stang with a 5-speed and a steel gear. Im wondering if there are any other vehicles that have dizzy's i can use, also, will the 85 dizzy cap have the same firing order that i need or will i have to buy a different cap?

The distributor cap is dumber than a box of rocks It doesn't know or care what order the wires are plugged into it. All it has to do is fit securely on the distributor you are using.
