ok wtf, got new rings but the ones the parts store gave me dont fit. they are for the H.O. motor but they are to thick. Im special ordering the non H.O. ones for this weekend to see if they are right. Why wouldn't my motor have H.O. pistons. any thoughts!?!?!
i went through this today with mine. Ended up just leaving the piston at the engine shop so he can test the new ones for proper fit. Guy said there's 2 types of rings available.
