What are the best spark plugs to get for a 99 GT? It has only minor mods like, exhaust, long tube headers and a coldair intake.

iv heard that you should stay away from expensive ones and just get motocraft or NGK

I like NGK Iridiums. I could tell a difference in them over my stock plugs on my last car. Not necessarily power wise, but it seemed to idle, rev, and pull through the power band much smoother and by no means did I need to change my plugs at the time (it had 20,000 miles on it).
