What are these??

you aresupposed to use em on your rod ends so when you slide the rods down your motor block it wont scratch the walls and its alot easyer to line em up on the crankshaft with them on there.. i'm not sure why they come with the head changing kit, i just threw mine away the other day..

nope, there are for the head bolts.
if your changing the heads wth the engine in the car. your suppose to put these under the outer row of head bolts, (under the bolt head), to help hold the bolts up and away from the deck of the block when removing or installing the heads......

I like that explanation much better......thanks Randy.
Now, do you have any lines on a solid lifter for degreeing cams??

I did but I sold the kit awhile ago, now there was a guy(matt maybe?) that copied mine and was suppose to make some for resale, he can be reached over at ModularRevolution.com or on Modularmisfits.com and I think his screen name is neverenuff:shrug:

hell, he may even be on here too:SNSign:
