I am going to do a PI swap on my 96 GT. I might get the heads ported but not sure yet. Just wanting to know what cams would be the best to go with? Thanks.

unless you don't mind risking shifting above 6200, i'd go with an xe262 or a VT stage 1 if you can find it. The PI cams arn't bad either

I agree with chris, also look at NPI grinds. A car at moduladep0t made 295 with NPI comp 268's with stock PI heads, not ported. Ill be going with 268's or a custom grind. Ive been reccomended having these cams custom ground for my na car. The specs fit what I want..

"Greenbird--

Advertised (.006" lift) intake duration: 258
Advertised (.006" lift) exhaust duration: 264
Intake duration @.050" lift: 222
Exhaust duration at .050" lift: 226
Max intake lift: .560"
Max exhaust lift: .550"
Lobe separation angle: 110
This cam should perform like stock below 3000 rpms. After that you will start to see gains, and you should see a gain of about 20rwhp at peak. That's quite a bit considering your staying within the stock RPM band.

that's a lot of intake lift for a 222 duration. Sounds like as much of a high rpm cam as VT Stage I's
