my car ticks like ALOT! mostly when its accelerating or something.

Its not spark knock, my timing is at 10 deg.

Its just a noisy as **** valvetrain.
Any ways to quiet it down???

OH
could it be the injectors?
the guy before me had problems with the injectors, he may have changed them, they are orange injectors, are those stock or not??

Stock heads and cam?

How about an exhaust leak? I would really check it over for a leak (first blush that was what I was thinking).

Good luck.

Yes alot of times it is an exhaust leak specially you said when you take off you hear it. mine has done it a couple off time, the regular gasket sometimes gets hard and gets a slight crack, i used the Percy copper gasket and i love it.

a couple of times i've beat up on the car, it started making louder ticks and then big ol clunks or something

Heat "usually" makes exhaust leak noises get less noticeable. IE as the car warms up, usually the heat makes the metals expand and a lot of times the noise will seem to fade. Not saying it cant be the other way around but Id be listening to hear if the noise follows engine RPM. I know its sometimes hard with the mufflers (or lack thereof) we put on these girls..
