First of all I'm from Bosnia / Europe ,now live in USA ,my English is sux ,so please don't critize me

3 Months ago my friend bought 02 Mustang GT 5 speed, now he needs new clutch because stock one is going bad
Question is what clutch kit he have to use, i know in 01' Ford switch tranny from T45 to 3650
So can he use same clutch kit like 96-01 or ONLY 02-04

I think he have 11" flywheel ??? and does he have 1-1/16-10" or 1-1/8-26" input shaft ???

he needs one for a tr-3650 tremec... the kit for a 96-01 will not fit.. the t-45 used in the 96-2001.5 used a 10.5 inch clutch where the tr-3650 uses a 11 inch clutch..

i have the centerforce dual friction in my t-45 and i liek it.. .nice stiff clutch pedal.. stock is too soft for my taste...

i have never really noticed because all the clutches i have put in t-3650's were pre bought by the customer and fit so i never looked... just made sure it's a 11 inch and installed it..

all i know is the clutch HAS too be for a t-3650... buy a kit made for that car... a 02 gt buy a kit made for the 2001.5-2004 GT...
