copied from sticky(Sticky: 94-95 GT/GTS/Cobra Specific FAQ Sheet) at top of the 94-95 tech. page from VibrantRedGT thread. alot of good info there.

you can look at the vehicle certification sticker on drivers side door jam and at bottom left of the sticker above where exterior paint color is typed you should have a code listed above probabily (E9) which is laser red.

I'll do the process of elimination bit:

There is

Laser Red

Rio Red

Vibrant Red

An Autumn Orange

and an Iris combination paint choice...

correct me if i'm wrong fellas.
now i know for a fact it's not rio red or vibrant red.
now from what i'm aware of... Iris and Autumn Orange are not factory 94-95 colours, however I MAY be wrong, I just never saw one before.

99.9% certainty of Laser Red.

Iris is factory color (the most rare). Autumn Orange is not a 94-95 factory color (I don't think). It is a newer Ford color.

I would love to check out the production #s on the Iris run, I've yet to see one mustang that colour.
To me it looks very similar to the laser red (i was looking at the color code bars)
but i've (to my knowledge) never seen a stang in the colour.

Only 1,304 Mustangs were built in that color. I've seen 1 GT for sale a few years back in Orlando. The one pictured below is for sale on www.cars.com

Huh. Much obliged man! :nice:
thanks for the pic post, now i know.

and now i know that your car jtb is laser red, if it's a factory paint.

that colour (iris) is really bad...
sorry if someone has their car that colour, but i couldn't handle driving in that thing.

off topic but i bought touch up paint, and a pint from a ford dealer by using the paint code, and both sayTurmaline(spelling*) on them. It looks forest green but it has turquoise highlights in the sun. Is this not a facotry color?

Hence the avatar rice is nice .
If you seriously want to paint your interior parts I recommend going to a autobody paint/supply after you get your paint code off your door.

Tell them you want (High Gloss Vinyl Paint*your code).
I did mine for 25$ "High gloss 03Redfire" to match my exterior say what you will it looks good to me on my 2003. :nice:
I am not going to do the 94 since I have that tan/black combo thats just well.....

And before anyone says anything T-Handles RULE!

What's with all the ricer jabs? If you don't have anything productive to add you should keep your mouth shut. I've had my interior painted for years, since '98 to be exact and that was long before the F&F movie came out and the term ricer was coined. My interior is one of the things I get the greatest number of compliments on at shows and cruise-ins. Its nice way to break up a sea of black plastic. Hell, a number of car manufacturers are doing this now in stock cars, I guess they are ricers too.

To the original poster, I too think its laser red, but as was said have the paint code from the door checked to verify. I painted mine myself originally with a spray bomb, but the results didn't come out as well as i had hoped so I had them re-sprayed when I had some exterior pieces repainted.

the word ricer was around before that. The reason its ricey is because it usually ends up looking like crap. exterior is exterior and interior is interior. Unless you own a jeep, seeing the exterior color of your car on the inside just looks cheesey. redfire's looks allright because the paint is a great color. take a look next time at any ricemobile, they always paint their interior . but its up to you guys, you can make it look good, but most of the time it doesnt
