Gonna start modding my car somemore and since im gettting a new battery Im going to throw it in the back. What do I need to buy to make a kit thats legal for the track.
What do I need to put the battery in the truck?

You need a metal box or a metal bulkhead to separate the battery from the cockpit and an on/off switch on the outside of the rear of the car.

I run the Taylor kit..real nice. Comes with a fancy looking batt. box and all the supporting hardware. I still need to run the cutoff switch, but they always let me slide through tech. If you race alot I'd recc. it some track techs can be a-holes about it.

I have a plastic box with no on/off switch in my car and my track still lets me race

what if i just got a plastic box that was the right size and some real heavy duty wire from home depot? would that work?
i NEVER go to the track, so that's not an issue...

Where can I mount this switch? Ive seen people mount it under there liscence plate, can i like put it under my bumper?
