how do you think this cam will perform?? .560/.576 lift 300/310 duration @.50 and 106 lobe separation..........i have a 306 with edelbrock victor jr heads, victor EFI intake, BBk 75mm Throttle body, 36lb injectors with calibrated mass air, 255lph BBK fuel pump, 10.7:1 compression, T-5 transmission with 3.73 gears.

If that 300/310 @ .050" lift is correct,it`s probably going to idle like a top fuel dragster and be a pita/headache for the street.

Is this a drag race or street car?

With a cam like that and with Victor jr heads and intake,it won`t be a fun to drive responsive car on the street, especially n/a.The Victor stuff is more for high rpm race use.

This car will pretty much be for the track only, right?

Yikes, that thing is huge. Drivability on the street will be horrible. My cam is 222/232 and even it has some drivability issues. Plus you would probably need a lower gear to get the most out of it. I would look at something smaller, like a TFS stg 2.

Honestly I think that is too big. I would look into a tfs 2 or 3. I also hear that a wolverine 1087 is a great street/strip cam with a large powerband. JMO.

my old cam was .218/.226 duration @ .050 and .500/.510 lift and it drove like a stock mustang...........i'm not raising too horribly much, but my lobe separation was 112 and the new cam is 106 that is where my difference is going to be. it will have a pretty radical idle

I would think that cam is made to spin pretty high with those #'s. I mean a 106 lobe seperation and 240+ duration, wow. that is a monster bumpstick. does it say what gears are recommended NA? i would imagine higher than 4.10's.

3.90's or lower, i'll end up getting different gears, but for now the 3.73's will have to do due to lack of funds
