so here's the deal. i'm selling my 87 supra turbo due to the condition it's in. i've always loved 5.0 mustangs, but i also like supras now. when i sell it, i'll either buy a 5.0 fox or a supra. anyways, here's the notch i'm looking at right now. http://www.autotrader.com/fyc/vdp.j...=1987&isp=y&pager.offset=0&lang=en&cardist=35
does it seem like a good deal?

edit: it's an automatic. i want a 5 speed but i don't mind auto for a while.

i don't know yet. if i sell my car and my parents are "down" then we'll go see it. but i called the guy. he said original mileage, original paint, etc. the kbb price is ridiculous. it's around $2,700, and i have a feeling no notch in that condition would be found at that price so i think it's a pretty good price.

Dont listen to KBB. Thats a good price for that notch. Its hard to find them in that kind of condition these days, so if you have the funds dont pass it up.

If you do not buy it, I will. 39k miles for $6k. That is a great deal in my opinion. Hard to find nice low miles coupes or mustanags for that matter. Everyone with low miles coupe wants $8-$12k for them. Good Luck!!

all depends what you want to do, if your gonna paint it and put a new engine in it just buy a shell, but if you want an all stock factory ride that is your car

Mmmmm ... virgin 'Stang. A fresh sacrifice to offer for the Mod God!

I'm betting it's an auto, too, judging by all the other options piled on there, and the fact that it was probably owned by some old guy that used it for a weekend toy of sorts.

Sweet notch.....get it , dont worry about it being an auto you can swap in a 5-speed . reminds me of my little virgin when I found her a couple months ago .

I've molested her but she still looks innocent......

Beautiful car... I'd jump alllllll over that car man! Well worth the 5800. Offer him 5200 cash and he'll take it. You could turn around and sell it on Ebay for 8-10K.
