hey guys i just got done with my head swap this weekend and this doesnt even feel like the same car!! it rips through the gears so fast! anyways, tell me what you think about my combo: its a 89' AOD Vert.... march ram air, vortech 73mm maf, cobra upper&lower intake, AFR 165 cc heads, stud mount 1.6 roller rockers, F-cam, shorty headers, no cats, hooker cb, msd ignition& coil, 3200 stall, shift kit etc. 4.10 gears, eaton posi, it has mild weight reduction done, 24# injectors, sub frame connectors, cooling system upgrades, bumped timing, and thats about it......should be looking at around 280-300 hp right? Im hoping for around a 13 flat timeslip if i can get it to hook with the nitto drag radials.....
tell me what ya think!!
thanks

I would think low 13s if spinning, I'd say mid 12s or better if you could hook

here is my dads 86 vert.

paint and body are just about done. we need to re do the front and re bumper

then is the engine. its got over 230k on it and its time for a change.

my dad thinking about a Roush Racing crate motor. the 450HP version.

and my 83 well its not worthy

your vert looks good with these wheels.

i think it would look even better with some clear conners.

thanks guys for all the comments!
strype- thats a sweet looking vert too!!
if its sunny out tomorow i will have to get some more pictures because the metallic my paint will pop! In the pictures i have right now it almost looks black...but reallys its dark blue...anyways what do you guys think about my wheels being powdercoated or painted white???? it would match the top and interior! Also, at my home track this car is going to need a cage if it goes faster than a 13.50....anyone have pics of a vert with a cage!??
thanks!
keep it coming
