Is that Deep Violet Metallic? Love the color, I am a bit biased though.

Did you get the Saleen book? If you did, look at the photo's for the 1996 model year. Identical to mine w/ the exception of the speedster hard tonneau. I thought it was cool that given all the colors, they chose the violet vert for the magazine. I'm not sure what my color is called. When I had it painted, they called it a Pearl Violet Metallic, then again that may have just been their words. Either way, I love it. Only 19 Violet Saleens ever produced, and we have two of them...

did get the book and i noticed that as well for the 96 pic, very cool. i have the only one with a gray interior according to liz saleen for 1997, how's that for useless minutia. it's a fun color though, it changes from very purple to almost a black in the right lighting. i get a lot of compliments.
