what does injector noise sound like?

Does anyone have a ticking sound file of excess injector noise? and what causes it?

Injectors tick pretty loudly. It could almost be mistaken for the rockers ticking away.

The difference is you should not hear a ticking being singled out. All the injectors should tick evenly and the same pitch. It should sound balanced.

Any odd ticking or excessive ticking could be a lifter or something else.
