What gear drive set will work on EFI 5.0's? I remember reading something saying that not all them made for 302s will work with efi.

I can't see why a gear drive would matter if it was EFI or not...

I dont think it would make any difference at all. what were you thinking of goin with? I mean 3.55s and 3.73 are a good upgrade for for everyday street use but if your going strictly for the 1/4 mile time id suggest 4.10s!

Not differential gears (I have 3:55s), a gear drive. It replaces your timing chain and doesn't stretch, its suppose to be the most accurate.

Has anybody ever used the Edelbrock gear drive? I think they might call it Accu-Drive.

don't get one. they are noisy as hell. well atleast if you get the straight cut gears. A double roller chain is just as good. A lot of them you have to modify the timing chain cover to get them to fit it is a pain.

I just took my Pete Jackson "Noisy" gear drive out after 3000 miles of use. It is loud. PM me if you are interested in it.
